Our courseware takes a practical, hands-on approach to training. These courses focus on the day-to-day work performed at schools. All courses listed below are available in four formats: self-service online training, regional public training classes, on-site training, and over-the-phone mentoring. SchoolInsight Basic & Yearly Setup
This introductory course covers the basics of getting your
school up and running with SchoolInsight. Topics include:
setting up student data, managing instructor accounts,
creating courses and rosters, custom reporting, yearly setup,
sending emails, and more. By the end of this session,
attendees will be comfortable with how to use SchoolInsight
in their daily work. This course includes hands-on labs
where attendees use their actual school data. This course is
intended for new SchoolInsight customers.
SchoolInsight Attendance (Self-Contained)
This course covers the essentials of managing attendance
for schools with self-contained classrooms. Learn how to
maintain the official attendance record, take and import
daily attendance, run reports, customize attendance codes,
and more. After completing this course, users will have the
skills needed to effectively manage their entire attendance
program. This course is intended for new users responsible
for school attendance.
SchoolInsight Attendance (Secondary)
This course covers the essentials of managing attendance
for secondary schools, where students move independently every
period. Learn how to manage attendance throughout the day,
maintain the official attendance record, run reports, customize
attendance codes, and more. After completing this course, users
will have the skills needed to effectively manage their entire
attendance program. This course is intended for new users
responsible for school attendance.
SchoolInsight Manual Scheduling
This introductory course will guide you step-by-step
through the manual scheduling process. It helps new customers
feel comfortable using the scheduler. By the end of this
course, attendees will have the skills needed to manually
build conflict-free master and student schedules. Learn how
to schedule rooms, instructors, and students. Team scheduling
and different cycle days (M-F, A/B, block, etc.) will also be
covered in this class. This course is intended for those
beginning the scheduling process with SchoolInsight.
SchoolInsight Advanced Scheduling
This course will guide you step-by-step through the
advanced scheduling process. It familiarizes customers with
using course registration and automatedschedule generation.
By the end of this course, attendees will have the skills
needed to produce conflict-free master and student schedules.
Learn how to utilize student course requests and instructor
qualifications to generate complex schedules. Handling
special scheduling situations and tracking students’
graduation requirements will also be covered in this class.
This course is intended for those beginning the advanced
scheduling process with SchoolInsight. We recommend
completing ‘SchoolInsight Manual Scheduling’, or being
familiar with those concepts, prior to taking this course.
SchoolInsight Lunch
This introductory course covers the essentials of setting up and managing lunch at your school using SchoolInsight. Learn how to do basic setup of meals and food items, enter food orders and payment handling. We'll also cover reporting - both individual accounts and school-wide. This course is intended for new users responsible for the lunch program.
