Catholic Diocese of Tulsa Adopts TeacherEase

Elmhurst, IL (June 26, 2013) - Common Goal Systems is pleased to announce that the Catholic Diocese of Tulsa (OK) will be implementing TeacherEase and SchoolInsight diocese-wide to all elementary schools. The Diocese serves approximately 2700 students in 10 elementary schools. Starting this fall, schools will use the web-based solution to manage grades, lesson plans, curricula, report cards, parent communication, and more.

“As a new Superintendent, one goal was to work with our curriculum team and effectively implement the Common Core across the Diocese,” says Jim Pohlman, Superintendent for the Diocese of Tulsa. “Since our diocesan standards can be imported into TeacherEase, it was the perfect solution! It's already well liked by our teachers. Now all lesson planning and record keeping is universal within the Diocese. I look forward to working with the TeacherEase team.”

Pat Helmers, Vice President of Sales for Common Goal Systems says, “We’re excited to be working with Catholic Diocese of Tulsa. Many individual schools had been using our products, and we look forward to building a deeper relationship within the Diocese. We think our products can really help them achieve their goals.”

TeacherEase and SchoolInsight are good solutions for Catholic dioceses looking for cost-effective technology. The products are designed around cloud computing, so no special hardware is required. The TeacherEase Lesson Planning and Curriculum module helps teachers transition to the Common Core. Dioceses and school districts can define specific standards and trickle them down into the classroom.
