Common Goal Systems Announces MOSIS Support

Elmhurst, IL - October 15, 2008 - Common Goal Systems, a leading developer of web-based software for schools, announces support for Missouri Student Information System (MOSIS) reports. Missouri customers can now generate MOSIS files directly from SchoolInsight, the company's student information management system.

Missouri schools submitted the first phase of their MOSIS files to the state on October 15, 2008. Several Missouri schools have piloted SchoolInsight and successfully imported data into MOSIS. John Ross, Superintendent of Cowgill R-VI, says this about his experience, "SchoolInsight has made a major difference in the way we collect grades, attendance, and other key data for MOSIS reports. The web-based features make it easy to upload data to MOSIS. We're saving time in the classroom and in the front office, getting parents more involved, and helping our students better prepare for the MAP tests. We love it and it is a lot less expensive than any of the other options we looked at!"

According to Michael Xakellis, President of Common Goal Systems, "The State of Missouri captures some of the most comprehensive student data in the nation. We tailored a solution to meet Missouri schools' specific needs. SchoolInsight is designed to be high quality, reliable, affordable, and user-friendly. We use the latest web-based technology and give our customers top-notch technical support too."

In addition to supporting all MOSIS reports, SchoolInsight also includes all the tools needed to run a district: student contact information, NCLB subgroup demographics, paperless attendance, scheduling, report cards, and discipline. It has a low, annual subscription fee, no start up costs, and free technical support and training.

Common Goal Systems (www.common-goal.com) has an entire line of web-hosted services designed to help schools and teachers work more efficiently. In addition to SchoolInsight, the company develops TeacherEase, the popular standards-based grading software with parent portal. Founded in 2001, Common Goal Systems, Inc. has hundreds of thousands of users around the world.
