Diocese of Madison Adopts Common Goal Systems Products

Elmhurst, IL (November 21, 2011) - Common Goal Systems is pleased to announce that the Catholic Diocese of Madison (WI) has committed to roll out the company's products diocese-wide to all elementary schools. This year, 11 schools from the Diocese are currently using SchoolInsight or TeacherEase. The Diocese will implement the web-based system for all 43 of its elementary schools within the next few years.

"Four years ago, St. Maria Goretti in Madison was our first customer in the Diocese," says Pat Helmers, Vice President of Sales for Common Goal Systems. "Their experience created positive word-of-mouth and additional schools have signed up every year. The Diocese standardized on Common Goal Systems products so everyone can benefit from our comprehensive features and ease of use. Our cloud-based system is just perfect for Catholic schools."

TeacherEase and SchoolInsight are used to manage student data, reports cards, standards-based grading, family communications, and more. The system is a good solution for Catholic schools looking for cost-effective technology. The products are available over the Internet. There's no software to load or large start-up costs.

"The program is extremely intuitive, especially for teachers" says Michael Lancaster Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Madison. "Of all the systems we reviewed, its intuitive design, ease of use, and reliability of performance set it apart. The system has high capability without high complexity for the user, and it performs all the necessary and complex tasks required to run a school – a flexible gradebook, report cards, online parent portal, and standards-based grading. Our schools have found it to be easy to learn, simple to use, and reliable in daily operation."
