SchoolInsight Beta Testing a Success in Oklahoma

Elmhurst, IL (February 21, 2012) – Common Goal Systems is pleased to announce the success of its Oklahoma SchoolInsight beta test program. During the past year, six Oklahoma school districts have used SchoolInsight as their student information management system and inter-operated with "The Wave," the state longitudinal data system. Based upon their experiences, these districts all have a high level of customer satisfaction. The company is opening up SchoolInsight (www.schoolinsight.com) to all Oklahoma school districts for the 2012-13 school year.

"The success of the beta program is great news," says Mike Xakellis, CEO for Common Goal Systems. "SchoolInsight is popular in other states, and we felt that we could deliver value to Oklahoma school districts too. We ran the beta program so we could understand and address all Oklahoma-specific issues, so our new Oklahoma customers would be delighted. You only get one chance to make a good first impression."

During the beta program, participating school districts used SchoolInsight and supplied end-user feedback. Common Goal responded to their requests and provided necessary Oklahoma-specific functionality. According to Jimmy Reynolds, Principal of Allen-Bowden School, "Using SchoolInsight has been a good experience for us. A few years ago we started off using the company's gradebook, TeacherEase. As a former teacher I knew how user- and parent-friendly it was. When SchoolInsight became SIF certified and could support The Wave, we jumped on board as a beta customer. Tech support is outstanding. Any report we've needed, they've built. SchoolInsight has become better than any other product we've used!"

Common Goal Systems provides web-based services to help educators work more efficiently. In addition to SchoolInsight, it develops TeacherEase (www.teacherease.com), one of the first web-based gradebooks. Using the Software as a Service (SaaS) model, the company offers its products via the Internet and is responsible for all system operation and maintenance. Founded in 2001, Common Goal Systems has hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
